Emotions are what drive humans to do the things that we do. Whether it is a psychological response or a behavioral one, our emotions begin with an experience that is unique to each of us. For many years, we have built an association of visual forms such as colors, weather, expressions, and more to convey emotions in complex ways. Just like how blue is used to describe gloom, and a sunny day may indicate positivity and happiness, the way humans perceive emotions has evolved. One prominent artist is pushing the bounds for a deeper understanding of what triggers our feelings. British artist and director, Saad Moosajee uses multiple mediums of art focused on the visual aesthetics that further develop the complexities of expressing, experiencing, and resonating with emotions through his works.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u60c5\u7eea\u662f\u9a71\u52a8\u4eba\u7c7b\u53bb\u5b9e\u65bd\u884c\u52a8\u7684\u52a8\u529b\u3002\u65e0\u8bba\u662f\u5fc3\u7406\u53cd\u5e94\u8fd8\u662f\u884c\u4e3a\u53cd\u5e94\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u60c5\u7eea\u90fd\u59cb\u4e8e\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u72ec\u6709\u4f53\u9a8c\u3002\u591a\u5e74\u6765\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5efa\u7acb\u4e86\u4e00\u79cd\u4e0e\u60c5\u7eea\u6709\u5173\u7684\u89c6\u89c9\u5f62\u5f0f\u4e0a\u7684\u5173\u8054\uff0c\u5982\u989c\u8272\u3001\u5929\u6c14\u3001\u8868\u60c5\u7b49\uff0c\u4ee5\u590d\u6742\u7684\u65b9\u5f0f\u4f20\u8fbe\u60c5\u611f\u3002\u5c31\u50cf\u84dd\u8272\u7ecf\u5e38\u88ab\u7528\u6765\u63cf\u8ff0\u5fe7\u90c1\uff0c\u9633\u5149\u660e\u5a9a\u7684\u65e5\u5b50\u53ef\u80fd\u9884\u793a\u7740\u79ef\u6781\u548c\u5e78\u798f\u4e00\u6837\uff0c\u4eba\u7c7b\u611f\u77e5\u60c5\u7eea\u7684\u65b9\u5f0f\u4e5f\u5728\u8fdb\u5316\u3002\u6709\u8fd9\u6837\u4e00\u4f4d\u6770\u51fa\u7684\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u6b63\u5728\u7a81\u7834\u754c\u9650\uff0c\u4ee5\u66f4\u6df1\u5165\u5730\u4e86\u89e3\u89e6\u53d1\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u611f\u53d7\u56e0\u7d20\u3002\u82f1\u56fd\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u517c\u5bfc\u6f14 Saad Moosajee \u4f7f\u7528\u591a\u79cd\u827a\u672f\u5a92\u4ecb\uff0c\u4e13\u6ce8\u4e8e\u89c6\u89c9\u7f8e\u5b66\uff0c\u66f4\u6df1\u5165\u5730\u63a2\u7d22\u5982\u4f55\u4f5c\u54c1\u6765\u8868\u8fbe\u3001\u4f53\u9a8c\u548c\u4e0e\u60c5\u611f\u4ea7\u751f\u5171\u9e23\u7684\u590d\u6742\u6027\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

Artist Saad Moosajee, who is now based in Brooklyn, works through many mediums to work across many genres to create new ways of building narratives. Having graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design,<\/em> he uses Photoshop, Cinema 4D, <\/em>and Poser<\/em> to create visually stunning surreal worlds that are visceral and otherworldly. Using his experience in animation, design, and visual effects, he experiments with old and new visual techniques to arouse notions of timeless art. <\/span><\/p>\n

Saad Moosajee \u73b0\u5728\u5c45\u4f4f\u5728\u5e03\u9c81\u514b\u6797\uff0c\u4ed6\u901a\u8fc7\u591a\u79cd\u5a92\u4ecb\uff0c\u8de8\u4f17\u591a\u6d41\u6d3e\u6765\u521b\u9020\u65b0\u7684\u53d9\u4e8b\u65b9\u5f0f\u3002\u4ece\u7f57\u5fb7\u5c9b\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5b66\u9662\u6bd5\u4e1a\u540e\uff0c\u4ed6\u4f7f\u7528 Photoshop\u3001Cinema 4D \u548c Poser \u521b\u9020\u4e86\u89c6\u89c9\u4e0a\u4ee4\u4eba\u60ca\u53f9\u7684\u8d85\u73b0\u5b9e\u4e16\u754c\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e9b\u4e16\u754c\u662f\u4ed6\u53d1\u81ea\u672c\u80fd\u7684\u521b\u4f5c\uff0c\u8d85\u51e1\u8131\u4fd7\u7684\u3002\u8fd0\u7528\u4ed6\u5728\u52a8\u753b\u3001\u8bbe\u8ba1\u548c\u89c6\u89c9\u6548\u679c\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u7ecf\u9a8c\uff0c\u4ed6\u7684\u89c6\u89c9\u5b9e\u9a8c\u5c06\u65b0\u7684\u548c\u65e7\u7684\u89c6\u89c9\u6280\u672f\u7ed3\u5408\u8d77\u6765\uff0c\u4ee5\u5524\u8d77\u6c38\u6052\u827a\u672f\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

Now an adjunct teacher at the School of Visual Arts, <\/em>he has risen to prominent fame and worked with the world\u2019s leading brands, talents, and institutions such as the Radiohead<\/em> frontman, Thom Yorke, Mitski, The New York Times, <\/em>and Google.<\/em> His work has also been featured in The Hammer Museum, Sharjah Museum of Contemporary Art, <\/em>and Museum of Moving Image<\/em> and won several prestigious awards from SXSW, Forbes, D&AD, <\/em>and The Art Directors Club.  <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

From an early age, Saad was interested in the art of visual storytelling, learning different types of software in artistic ways. From the age of 15 he set out to fulfill his vision, however, unlike the fortunate artists of today, there were not as many tutorials that were available to the public and online video platforms such as Youtube<\/em> were not as developed as they are now. Saad would experiment with the artistic usage of different software while taking references from the fantastic works of H.R. Giger<\/em> and Salvador Dali.<\/em> Inspired by their works, he would go on to work as a freelancer and become a creative director at Slashthree.<\/em><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Saad \u4ece\u5c0f\u5c31\u5bf9\u89c6\u89c9\u53d9\u4e8b\u7684\u827a\u672f\u611f\u5174\u8da3\uff0c\u4ee5\u827a\u672f\u4e3a\u65b9\u5411\u5b66\u4e60\u4e0d\u540c\u7c7b\u578b\u7684\u8f6f\u4ef6\u3002\u4ece 15 \u5c81\u5f00\u59cb\uff0c\u4ed6\u5c31\u5f00\u59cb\u6162\u6162\u671d\u7740\u5b9e\u73b0\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u613f\u666f\u800c\u52aa\u529b\uff0c\u7136\u800c\uff0c\u4e0e\u4eca\u5929\u5e78\u8fd0\u7684\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u4eec\u4e0d\u540c\uff0c\u5f7c\u65f6\u516c\u4f17\u53ef\u4ee5\u83b7\u5f97\u7684\u6559\u7a0b\u5e76\u4e0d\u591a\uff0cYoutube \u7b49\u5728\u7ebf\u89c6\u9891\u5e73\u53f0\u4e5f\u6ca1\u6709\u73b0\u5728\u8fd9\u6837\u53d1\u8fbe\u3002Saad \u4e0d\u65ad\u5c1d\u8bd5\u4e0d\u540c\u8f6f\u4ef6\u7684\u827a\u672f\u7528\u9014\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u4ee5H.R. Giger \u548c Salvador Dali \u7684\u7cbe\u5f69\u4f5c\u54c1\u4e3a\u53c2\u8003\u3002\u53d7\u5230\u4ed6\u4eec\u4f5c\u54c1\u7684\u542f\u53d1\uff0c\u4ed6\u4ee5\u81ea\u7531\u804c\u4e1a\u8005\u7684\u8eab\u4efd\u5de5\u4f5c\uff0c\u5e76\u6210\u4e3a Slashthree \u7684\u521b\u610f\u603b\u76d1\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

Through his experience, he would further be inspired by graffiti artists such as Banksy and his surrounding environment. This would lead him to jump into the path of becoming an artist by exploring deeper themes surrounding emotion and aesthetics. Using videos as his \u201cplayground\u201d<\/em> to push the boundaries of animation, he would mark technological advancement as one of the key factors of his work.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u901a\u8fc7\u6b64\u524d\u7ecf\u5386\uff0c\u4ed6\u8fdb\u4e00\u6b65\u53d7\u5230 Banksy \u7b49\u6d82\u9e26\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u548c\u5468\u56f4\u73af\u5883\u7684\u542f\u53d1\u3002\u8fd9\u5f15\u5bfc\u4ed6\u4e00\u8dc3\u800c\u8fbe\u827a\u672f\u7684\u5c42\u9762\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u63a2\u7d22\u56f4\u7ed5\u60c5\u611f\u548c\u7f8e\u5b66\u7684\u66f4\u6df1\u5c42\u6b21\u7684\u4e3b\u9898\uff0c\u8d70\u4e0a\u4e86\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u7684\u9053\u8def\u3002\u4f7f\u7528\u89c6\u9891\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4ed6\u7684\u201c\u6e38\u4e50\u573a\u201d\u6765\u7a81\u7834\u52a8\u753b\u7684\u754c\u9650\uff0c\u4ed6\u5c06\u6280\u672f\u8fdb\u6b65\u6807\u8bb0\u4e3a\u4ed6\u4f5c\u54c1\u7684\u5173\u952e\u5143\u7d20\u4e4b\u4e00\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n
